Jamie over at Tales of a Carolina Girl invited special
educators to introduce themselves to one another with their best teaching
advice.
So here is a little introduction to me! My name is Lindy McDaniel. I have taught in a variety of preschool
classrooms for the past 11 years and just recently took a position as the Early
Childhood Coordinator for our state Autism team. Here is the link to our site TASN-ATBS. We have some really great resources and
pre-recorded webinars under Trainings on Demand.
My advice is to always have a class schedule filled with
engaging and differentiated instruction.
As stated by Kathleen Lane, “The
best behavior plan is a good lesson plan.”
In Early Childhood a big piece to that is having your room arranged in a
way that is conducive to your schedule, your students and your instruction. With that I link you to one of my favorite posts.
. . a tour of our classroom! No better way to meet than with a virtual
tour:)
Best Wishes, Lindy
